Jacob Javits Convention Center
Ney York City, NY

Like so many New York City landmarks, the Javits Center is a symbol of American pride. Sometimes referred to as the "glass house", it was designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei and comprises 675,000 square feet of exhibition space.

Main halls 3A, 3B and 3E, were retrofitted with 400-watt Singray SPA luminaires equipped with pulse-start metal halide lamps. The new Stingray systems deliver the sparkling qualities of point-source lighting while consuming 50% less energy than the encumbent systems, resulting in annual energy savings of approximately $100,000.00.
