The Stealth Fighter is illuminated by 160 SPA high-bay luminaires in Hanger #3.  The Stealth Fighter ( F-117A, called the Nighthawk) was on loan from the United States Air Force during the 2006 MCAS Miramar Air Show.  450-watt fixtures mounted more than 40 feet above the hanger floor provide superior lighting  quality for Marine Corps pilots and mechanics year round.
